It's the Internet, dummy 1

“People keep asking me to join the LinkedIn network,” he said, “but I’m already part of a network, it’s called the Internet.”

One day all those walled gardens will be broken down and the internet will be one. Of course, it will still be full of photos of Cats, but whatever.
